THE DONALD SMARTO PHOTOGRAPHIC COLLECTION
The Smarto collection is a one of America’s largest private collections of cameras and rare original photographs. Comprised of over 900 pieces of photo history spanning 145 years, the cameras were acquired over a 35 year period.  All the cameras and related photography artifacts are in excellent condition and were acquired from fine antique dealers in Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles, New York, Moscow, London, Sidney, Paris, and Rome and at private camera shows in Chicago and Dallas. This private collection of cameras is shared with youth for their instruction and the stimulation of their imaginations.
